The STIHL GTA 40 is a powerful, cordless garden pruner from the AS System, designed for more demanding pruning and cutting tasks. With a rated voltage of 22 V and 0.41 kW of power, it delivers nearly twice the performance of the GTA 26, making it ideal for tackling thicker branches, light firewood cutting, and DIY woodworking projects.

Equipped with a 15 cm (6″) guide bar and a 1/4″ P chain, the GTA 40 provides fast, precise, and clean cuts. Despite its increased cutting capacity, it remains compact and lightweight at only 1.4 kg (without battery), ensuring excellent maneuverability.

One AS 2 battery charge delivers up to 240 cuts, giving you extended runtime for bigger jobs. The IPX4 water protection rating means it’s built to withstand outdoor use, even in damp conditions.
